How we help?
Strack & Van Til has a long history of supporting the community, from women’s organizations and hunger relief to schools, the military, and first responders and their families. Many great organizations are doing so many great things for our communities, and we are proud to help wherever we can.

From feeding the hungry to supporting schools and sponsoring sports teams, we believe in making a difference through active participation. We’re committed to taking on any task, big or small, to help our communities thrive.
The Strack & Van Til Checkout Challenge Round Up is a year-round fundraising campaign benefiting various charities in Northwest Indiana. Customers can round up their purchase to the nearest dollar, with the extra funds donated to the designated charity. In 2023, this initiative raised $683,843. President Jeff Strack credits its success to the generosity of customers and the dedication of employees, emphasizing that giving back is integral to Strack & Van Til’s culture.
Strack & Van Til will be helping local schools by providing Free Education Equipment during this school year. Through this program, we have already contributed over $408,000 to schools in our community.
How to participate?
STEP 1
Collect Receipts
Collect and submit Strack & Van Til receipts to a participating school. Ask family and friends to save receipts too. Every dollar spent earns points for educational equipment. Receipts must be dated from September 1, 2023, to March 31, 2024, and submitted by April 8, 2024.
STEP 2
Sign-Up
A school representative must sign up at http://www.aftssvt.com/ or call 800-352-4658. They will collect and submit receipts throughout the year. Points are earned based on the total spent at Strack & Van Til and can be used to order educational equipment.
STEP 3
Select Equipment
Schools can choose free educational equipment from the Awards Catalog based on the points they’ve earned. The final order must be submitted by May 15, 2024.
